WePlay clone: launch your own white label voice party game app
A WePlay clone is a ready-made social app where people jump into a voice room and play short party games together while they talk: a spot-the-impostor round, a word spy game, draw and guess, a karaoke mic queue, a board race. It copies the business model, not WePlay's brand, art or games. Ours is $15,900 one-time, the source code is optional at $999, and it goes live in 30 days under your name, after you have played with a live demo yourself.
We built this white label WePlay app for founders who have noticed something simple about voice chat: an empty room is awkward, and a game fixes that in seconds. Give strangers a round to play and they keep talking, come back tomorrow, and send gifts to the person who made them laugh. This page covers our WePlay clone app development work in full, every side of the product, how it earns, the rules to respect in the US and the Gulf, and the exact price. If you want an app like WePlay for Arabic speakers, South Asian communities or US college friend groups, read on.
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Price | $15,900 one-time |
| Launch | live in 30 days |
| Platforms | iOS app, Android app and a web admin panel |

The fastest way to judge a voice party app is to sit in a room and play a round. We will set up a private session on our WePlay clone for you and your team, then open the admin side so you can see gifts, packs and reports from the operator's chair. No cost to try.
Request Free DemoWhy a WePlay clone is a smart business to own
We checked Apple's public charts on 8 November 2026. In the United Arab Emirates, WePlay's Gulf listing (called WePlay, Games, Chat and Friends there) ranked #37 on the overall top grossing iPhone chart, and a Jackaroo card game from the same publisher sat at #64. That listing carries a 4.37 average from about 39,000 UAE ratings and ships in Arabic, English, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali and Turkish. In the United States, the WePlay App Store listing shows a 4.60 average from roughly 249,000 ratings, a 17+ age rating, and the note that the app includes random-item purchases; it ranked #59 among top grossing Entertainment apps that day.
The publisher, WEJOY PTE. LTD. of Singapore, said in a 23 September 2025 press release that its Saudi National Day voice room party was featured on the App Store across the Middle East and that WePlay had passed 10 million downloads. That is the company's own claim, but the bigger picture is public and audited. Dubai-based Yalla Group, whose flagship is a voice-centric group chat app with Ludo next to it, reported on 9 March 2026 revenue of $341.9 million for 2025, net income of $148.1 million, 44.8 million monthly users and 10.4 million paying users in the fourth quarter. Voice plus casual games is a proven way to make money in the region, and the category still has room for focused local brands.
What actually makes the WePlay model work
The trick is that the game gives everyone a reason to speak. WePlay's listings name social deduction rounds, a word spy game, a karaoke mode, drawing games, hide and seek, and in the Gulf build, Ludo and Jackaroo. Each round is short, so a room can play five in half an hour, and every round produces a winner, a loser and a story. Around the games sit the things that hold people: a voice room for singing and PK contests where gifts fly, a 3D avatar people dress up, daily missions that hand out experience points, leaderboards, interest group chats and a belonging space the site calls Love Nest. Money comes from gifts, a VIP subscription and tiered monthly packs, and the listing is open that some purchases are randomized. Games start the chat, the chat builds friendships, and friendships turn into gifting.
Who this WePlay clone is for
We see four buyers for this product. A Gulf founder who wants an Arabic first room for Saudi, Emirati and Kuwaiti players, with Jackaroo style card and board games that feel local. A community operator serving Pakistani, Indian or Bangladeshi diaspora in Dubai, Sharjah, Houston or New Jersey who need a place to hang out in Urdu, Hindi or Bengali. A US startup going after college students and gaming friend groups who want voice without the hassle of a full gaming platform. And a games studio that already makes casual titles and wants a social shell to put them in. If your plan is built around video hosts and gifting, our Bigo Live clone fits better, and if you mainly want people to meet nearby, look at the Portl clone. All our social products sit on the social networking apps hub.

See It LiveHow a WePlay clone makes money
Voice party apps earn from emotion in the moment: a great song, a funny loss, a winning team. These are the levers you control from the admin.
| Revenue stream | How it earns |
|---|---|
| Virtual gifts | Users buy coins and send gifts to hosts, singers and winners; the platform keeps the margin between coin price and host payout |
| VIP subscription | A recurring plan with badges, entry effects, extra seats and daily bonus coins |
| Monthly packs | Silver, gold or diamond style bundles that drip coins and items across the month |
| Avatar items | Outfits, frames, mic skins and room themes sold one by one or in seasonal sets |
| Sponsored events | Brands pay to host a themed room, tournament or holiday party |
If you add randomized rewards, the odds go on screen before purchase. It is an Apple rule, and it also keeps trust high in a product that depends on regulars.
Tech stack for the WePlay clone
Real-time voice and real-time games are the hard parts, so the stack is built around them.
- Apps: Flutter or React Native for both stores, with native audio modules for echo control and low battery drain.
- Voice: a real-time audio SDK such as Agora or an open WebRTC server, chosen by your target markets and budget.
- Game server: Node.js with WebSockets for turn timers, state sync and scoring, so every player sees the same board.
- Data: PostgreSQL for wallets, gifts and payouts; Redis for presence, rooms and leaderboards.
- Admin: a Next.js web console with role-based access.
- Payments: Apple and Google in-app purchases for coins and VIP, plus local gateways where web top-ups are allowed.
- Safety: text filters, report pipelines and optional audio moderation services.
Fully customized and truly white label
After handover there is no trace of Make An App Like or WePlay anywhere in the product. Your brand name, logo, colour palette, gift designs, avatar style, store pages and domain go on every screen. We set Arabic right to left layouts, your launch languages, currencies, coin pack sizes and VIP tiers. Want a women only room category, a faith friendly mode with no music, or a game lineup tuned for Gujarati speakers? We configure it. With the optional source code, your own developers can add new games long after launch.
Rules to get right before launch
This is general information, not legal advice; please confirm with a lawyer in each country you launch in.
- Randomized purchases: Apple's App Review Guidelines require apps offering loot boxes to disclose the odds of each item before purchase. Our odds manager shows them.
- User content: the same guidelines expect apps with user content to filter objectionable material, let users report it with timely responses, and block abusive users. Voice rooms count.
- Children in the US: COPPA requires verifiable parental consent before collecting personal data from children under 13. Most voice party apps set a higher minimum age and enforce it.
- Children in the UAE: Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2025 on Child Digital Safety came into force on 1 January 2026, according to a Clyde and Co summary, with compliance expected by January 2027. It asks for age verification, limits on under-13 data, and blocks children from games involving gambling or betting.
- No cash value: game coins should never convert back to money for players, and game outcomes should never pay out prizes, or a party game starts to look like gambling, which UAE law prohibits.
- Host payouts: paying hosts for gifts means identity checks, tax forms in the US, and a payment partner licensed for your markets.
- Music: karaoke tracks need licences, or users must upload content they own.
Pricing for the WePlay clone

That covers the player apps, host tools, admin console, game server, voice integration, gifting and VIP billing, your branding, deployment and store submission, and 3 months of free support and maintenance. The source code is optional at $999 if you want to own and extend it in-house. No monthly licence, no revenue share.
| What you pay for | Price | Included |
|---|---|---|
| Complete WePlay clone | $15,900 one-time | Player apps, host tools, admin, party games, voice rooms, gifting, VIP and packs, branding, deployment, live in 30 days |
| Source code add-on | $999 one-time | Apps, game server, backend and admin code, yours to host and extend |

Your running costs depend on how busy the rooms get: voice minutes billed by your audio provider, servers, store commission on coin sales, and any music licences.
WePlay clone vs building from scratch
Building voice rooms, a fair game server, a coin economy and moderation from zero is a big job, roughly 3,000 to 4,800 hours. Using our hour model of $50 an hour, plus 20% for testing and 20% for project management, that comes to about $216,000 to $345,600 before a single user joins. Run your own feature list through our app cost calculator before you decide.
| Factor | Build from scratch | Our WePlay clone |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | About $216,000 to $345,600 (estimate) | $15,900 one-time |
| Time to launch | 9 to 14 months | 30 days |
| Proof before paying | Designs and a roadmap | A working demo you can play |
| Source code | Yours | Yours for $999 more |

Get Exact Cost EstimationWhy founders buy their WePlay clone from us
We have built live, voice and social products before, so we know where these apps break: echo in crowded rooms, games falling out of sync on slow networks, coin balances that do not match, and store reviewers asking about odds and moderation. This product already handles those. You play it before you pay. Gulf details such as right to left layouts, Arabic gift names and holiday events are part of the build, not an afterthought. And when you ask whether to launch in Riyadh or Dubai first, you get a straight answer.
How the build and launch works
- Demo and scope: you play the live build, then we agree your brand, markets, languages, games and prices.
- Branding and setup: we apply your identity, design your gift set, connect the voice provider and store billing.
- Testing and store submission: we test rooms and games on real devices and networks, then submit on your accounts.
- Launch and support: you go live in about 30 days, with 3 months of free fixes and advice.
The honest part: the app is ready, the community is your job
Software does not fill rooms. An app like WePlay works when there are always a few lively rooms open in each language, and that takes hosts, community managers and a marketing budget. You will need a moderation team that listens to reports around the clock, clear house rules, licensed music for karaoke, a payment partner with KYC for host payouts, and a lawyer who signs off on your age rules and any randomized rewards. We help you plan all of that, but we will not pretend it comes in the box. WePlay is a trademark of its owner; our product is an independent white label build and is not affiliated with or endorsed by WEJOY PTE. LTD. or WePlay. To compare other ready-made products, browse our white label app catalogue, or ask us for a walkthrough of the WePlay clone script on the demo call.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a WePlay clone cost?
Our WePlay clone costs $15,900 one-time. That includes the iOS and Android player apps, the host tools, the admin and moderation console, the party game server, voice room integration, gifting, VIP and monthly packs, branding, deployment and store submission, plus 3 months of free support and maintenance. The source code is optional at $999. You pay no monthly licence and no share of revenue; your ongoing costs are voice minutes, servers and store fees.
How fast can a WePlay clone go live, and can I try a demo?
Yes, you can try a live demo first, and the app goes live in 30 days after you approve the scope. In the demo you join a voice room, play a round, send a test gift and open the admin console. Voice and games need careful testing on real networks, which is why the timeline is 30 days rather than 15. Large custom additions, such as a brand new game, are scoped and timed separately.
Do I get the source code and own the WePlay clone?
The source code is optional at $999 on top of the $15,900 price, and once you buy it you own it. You receive the code for the mobile apps, game server, backend and admin, and can host it anywhere and hire any developer to extend it. Either way, the apps are published on your own App Store and Google Play accounts, under your brand, and all user data stays in your cloud account.
Is the white label WePlay app fully customized?
Yes, the brand and the business rules are entirely yours. We change the name, logo, colours, gift artwork, avatar style, store listings and domain, then set your languages, Arabic right to left layout, currencies, coin packs, VIP tiers, game lineup and age rules per country. Nothing in the finished app mentions WePlay or Make An App Like. You can also shape the home screen around one game, one language or one community.
How do the party games work inside the voice rooms?
Any host can start a game from inside a room, and the players on the mic seats join with one tap. Our game server keeps every phone in sync, runs the turn timers and scores each round, while everyone keeps talking over voice. The base product includes our own versions of classic formats: an impostor round, a word spy game, draw and guess, a karaoke queue and a Ludo style board race. More games can be added later.
What is included in the WePlay clone?
You get three sides and the systems behind them. The player app covers voice rooms, party games, quick match, 3D avatars, chat, clubs, missions, leaderboards and the gift wallet. Host tools cover mic seats, the game launcher, PK contests, events and earnings. The admin console covers gifts, packs, odds, moderation, age gates, payouts and analytics. Deployment, store submission, documentation and 3 months of support are included.
How does an app like WePlay make money?
It earns mainly from virtual gifts, a VIP subscription and monthly packs. Users buy coins through Apple or Google billing and send gifts to hosts, singers and winners, and the platform keeps the margin between the coin price and the host payout. VIP adds badges, effects and daily coins, and monthly packs drip coins and items over the month. Avatar items and sponsored events add more. You set every price in the admin.
Is a WePlay clone allowed in the UAE and the US?
Yes, voice party apps operate legally in both markets, but you must follow their rules. Apple requires odds disclosure for randomized purchases and real moderation for user content. In the US, COPPA restricts data from children under 13. In the UAE, the Child Digital Safety Law in force since 1 January 2026 asks for age verification and bars children from gambling-style games. Coins should never be cashed out by players. Confirm the details with a local lawyer.
Do you provide users, hosts or moderators?
No, we provide the software, and you build the community. We say this plainly because busy rooms decide whether a voice party app earns. You will need hosts to keep rooms lively in each language, a moderation team for reports, and a marketing budget for the first users. We can advise on host recruitment, launch events and moderation workflows, and the tools for all of them are built into the product.
How is this WePlay clone different from your Bigo Live clone?
This WePlay clone is built around games inside voice rooms, while our Bigo Live clone is built around video hosts and gifting. Here the reason to stay is the next round with friends, so it adds the party game server, quick match, avatars, missions and clubs. Bigo Live suits creator-led video streaming with agencies and PK battles. Both share a gifting economy, and on the demo call we help you choose the right base.
